Allegany County District Attorney Pete Degnan reports that Scot Thompson, formerly of Englewood Florida, has been indicted by an Allegany County Grand Jury, on two counts of second degree murder. Officials say that Scot Thompson allegedly killed his two brothers, Mark and David Thompson, with a rifle, in the Allegany County Town of Allen, back on November 23. D.A. Pete Degnan says, if convicted, Thompson could get 25 years to life in prison. He’s currently in Allegany County Jail without bail.
The investigation was handled by State Police, the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department, the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and Geneseo Police.
