The general election is coming up on Tuesday, November 4. For the candidates who were running on one of the big party lines: Democrat, Republican, Conservative or Working Families Party, they had to have their political petitions in by April 3. For those who were going to run as independent line candidates, they had to have their petitions in by May 27.
For those candidates who will be voted in, at town caucuses, they have until July 24 to get their name filed at the Steuben County Board of Elections Office.
