Upstate Hospitals Update

April 5, 2020

An Albany source tells Wlea News that in conversations with the governor’s office regarding the expected executive order, about removing ventilators and PPE from Upstate New York hospitals, the governor’s representatives are now saying, that they want 20 percent of all the unused ventilators from the Upstate New York “hospital network system-wide” (meaning all the upstate hospitals combined together). The governor’s people say at this point, they don’t want 20 percent of each individual hospital’s ventilators, that’s according to our source.
