New York State Ag and Marketing officials say, the State Ag Commissioner Richard Ball recently joined state and local leaders, representatives from the New York Wine & Grape Foundation, New York Farm Bureau, the USDA, and Cornell Cooperative Extension to tour several vineyards in the area, which were impacted by a recent freeze.
They say the group visited with grape growers in Steuben County and neighboring counties to assess the damage.
