Vandalism Spree In Alfred Lands Three Teens in Jail

ALFRED, NY – Alfred Village Police Chief Paul Griffith is reporting that three teenage suspects from Ithaca and Canandaigua are accused of vandalism at and around Alfred University.
 
Griffith says that the three teens went into a construction site on pine street in Alfred, damaging blueprints and spraying fire extinguishers. Then, after breaking into the McLane center at the University and later vandalizing a bicycle, the teens are alleged to have flipped a radar trailer upside down on the street.
 
Police Chief Griffith says that a speed limit sign was found in one of the student’s apartment later on. some of these incidents, Griffith says, was captured on video camera.
 
The three suspects were charged with:
 
Criminal Mischief in the 2nd degree,
Criminal Possession of stolen property in the 5th degree
Burglary in the 3rd degree
Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree
Criminal Trespass in the 3rd degree
 
They were remanded to the Allegany County Jail, $10,000 bail.
