Hammondsport Police Chief Jason Dininny tells us that on Thursday at 12:18 pm, an individual was trying to park their car in the Hammondsport Post Office parking lot, and that person’s foot slipped off the brake, hitting the accelerator, striking the wall of the Post Office. The vehicle had to be towed and the driver was taken to Ira Davenport. No tickets were issued.
Hammondsport fire and ambulance responded and assisted at the scene.
