ALBANY, NY – During a joint state legislature hearing on crime, State Senator Tom O’Mara asked the head of the NYPD’s Crime Control Strategies, how often does a gun owner that legally has a weapon use that gun to commit a crime?
The answer was, “in the single digits – over a three year period”.
