Village Election Day Is Wednesday, March 18

March 17, 2026

Voting hours are 12pm-9pm. Here is the list of local races:

CANISTEO – Madeline Seamen is running for village justice, Gregory Woodworth is running for village trustee and David Robinson is running for reelection as a trustee too. Voting is at Somers Hall in Canisteo.
NORTH HORNELL – Frank Libordi are Elise McColluym are both seeking reelection as Village Trustees. Also in North Hornell, Mayor Joseph Flint is running once again.
ALFRED – Meredith Field, James Cronin Jr and Stuart Yaniger are each running for village trustee. Voting is in the Alfred Village Hall building.
ARKPORT – George Prete is not running for another term as mayor and there are two candidates going for that position. They are Democrat Patty Amidon and Republican Carson Doorley. Also in Arkport, there are three village trustee seats up for a vote. Republicans Ryan Beers and Eric Houy are both in the running as is Democrat Timothy Quinlan. Voting is in the Arkport Village Hall.
Other races of note: Running in Bath, are Village Mayor Mike Sweet and Bath Village trustees Melonie Coots and Jim Spencer. In Bath voting is at the Village Hall. In Hammondsport, Democrats Jason McCloud and Deborah Lynch are running for Village trustee seats. Voting in Hammondsport is at the Fred and Harriet Taylor Library. In Savona, Village Trustee Democrat Jessica Stevens is running and so is Democrat Duane Basch. Savona voters cast their ballots at the Savona Village Hall. In Painted Post, Mayor Ralph Foster is running again. In Painted Post you vote at the village hall. In Addison, voting is at the Community Center. The candidates running in Addison are Lorne Hults and Richard Cilino. In Cohocton, the two village trustee candidates are Kathryn Gray and Matthew McCarthy and there are two seats up, in Cohocton. In Wayland, you vote at the Wayland Village Hall and there’s a trustee race between David Pragle and David Stevens. Also in Wayland, Melonie Coley is running unopposed.
