ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY – Wellsville Police arrested a Wellsville teen, a 19 year old boy, who is from Wellsville, on charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds and 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon. Police say that the charges stem from an incident at the Wellsville Secondary School, in which a school administrator observed a rifle in the front seat of a vehicle parked in a school parking lot. The administrator contacted the School Resource Officer and the teen was taken into custody, was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail pending conditions brought forth by the Court.
