ROCHESTER, NY – WHEC TV Rochester has done a story about how New York State still uses Education Publisher Pearson Incorporated, in spite of the multi-million dollar settlement Pearson made with the state AG’s office.
According to WHEC, Pearson Incorporated, which collects data on students as a part of Common Core in New York State, had to pay State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s Office over 7 million dollars. That is reportedly because Pearson used non-profit money to help their for-profit parent company.
