ALFRED, NY – Alfred Village Police Chief Paul Griffith reports that on Saturday night, Alfred Police recovered a bag with a pound and a half of heroin wrapped in duct tape and plastic. Griffith says that it appears at this time, that the heroin was not intended for distribution in Alfred. The police chief also added that the heroin is being sent to the NYS Police lab.
