Zephyr Teachout: I Will Halt Common Core

The Working Families Party’s Zephyr Teachout, who hopes to defeat Governor Andrew Cuomo in a
Democratic primary in September, gave an editorial to Gannett press today, in which she promised
to get rid of Common Core, if she defeats Governor Andrew Cuomo. “If I am elected governor, I will fight every day to make sure New York’s children have the best schools in the country. I will immediately halt implementation of the Common Core.”
