Hornell to Assist New Business on Main Street

October 17, 2016

HORNELL, NY – The Hornell Common Council passed a resolution Monday night that paves the way for financial assistance for a new business in downtown Hornell. The Wine Brute Bar, which will locate on 99 Main Street (formally Sal Pacino’s resturant), hopes to open their doors by Thanksgiving and bring a new twist to the city’s wine culture. New owner Justin Rectenwald, who studied wine making at Cornell University and currently has an operation in Arkport, wants to have wine tasting and sales featuring the many local wines from our area. “This will highlight other local brewing establishments like Cider Creek and RailHead Brewery,” explained Hogan, “And were all for entrepreneurs in the city.”
