TOMPKINS COUNTY, NY – Seth Stein, spokesman for Martha Roberston’s campaign, has issued the following statement about the new Congressman Tom Reed tv commercial:
“Congressman Tom Reed’s juvenile attacks on a whole community he’s supposed to represent are another example of how he won’t talk about the real issues in this race. He is disparaging thousands of his own constituents, leaving us to ask the question – what if a fire department in Ithaca needs federal funds? What if an Ithaca resident needs help getting their Social Security check? Is Tom Reed representing them in Congress, or just the people he agrees with?”
