13 Year Old Bath Student Is Charged For Making Threats

BATH, NY – From the Bath Village Police FB Page:

The Village of Bath Police Department reports the apprehension of a 13 year old juvenile after an investigation into threats made online regarding an upcoming function at the Bath Haverling High school. A concerned student notified a school faculty member who in turn notified the Bath Police Department about the alleged threats. The Bath Police were assisted by the school district administration, Steuben county Probation and the NYSP. The juvenile was charged as a juvenile delinquent for offenses that would constitute criminal Possession of a Firearm and Making Terroristic Threats if committed by an adult. He was taken into custody and placed in a juvenile detention facility pending a Steuben county Family court appearance. The investigation is continuing.
