LIVINGSTON COUNTY, NY – Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty has just released a story about a pullover on 390 in the Avon area, that turned into a drug arrest. The sheriff says that this past Sunday, a deputy pulled over a vehicle being driven by 27 year old Tom Getman Jr., from Dansville. Getman’s passenger was 39 year old Brandon Salmon from Canisteo.
Officials say there were 27 bags of heroin in the car, and a jar containing marijuana. The two men are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, and Getman is also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Officials say that both suspects posted bail and were released.
