HORNELL, NY – Monday night Mayor John Buckley spoke at a public hearing about a federal funding opportunity to renovate the Hornell Senior Center on Broadway. The renovation would include new flooring, ADA ramps, an elevator and remodeled kitchen and bathroom.
Mayor Buckley said this this renovation would better serve seniors in the City who rely on services provided in the building such as Faith in Action and Office of the Aging.
Common Council authorized the Mayor to apply for the funding at their regular meeting Monday night.
