HORNELL, NY – Hornell is raising water and sewer rates. Mayor John Buckley says, thats because of the 6.8 million dollar upgrades to the water plant, and due to inflation causing higher costs for the process chemicals used at the water and sewer plants.
Also Hornell is applying for grants from the state for work on the sewer plant.
