CANISTEO,NY – A representative from Invenergy says Canisteo and Cameron are no longer on their wind map. The reason given was that not enough landowners renewed their leases. “It was a critical loss of leases,” the rep said. Remaining towns involved are Jasper Troupsburg Greenwood and West Union.
Further explanation: the megawatts decreased because of congestion of the transmission grid.
