HORNELL, NY – Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that 28 year old Stephan Knowlton Leach of Upper Glen Avenue Hornell, is accused of violating a restraining order in the Town of Hornellsville, allegedly beating up and raping the person who filed the restraining order.
Connected to this, the sheriff reports that Stephan Knowlton Leach’s cousin, 28 year old Anthony Leach is accused of trying to hinder and obstruct the investigation into the alleged assault and rape incident.
Stephan Knowlton Leach was remanded to Steuben County Jail, $5000 bail.
Anthony Leach was ticketed and released.
