The four Elmira area gang assault suspects have pleaded guilty to Gang Assault in the First Degree. That happened today in Allegany County Court. According to Allegany County District Attorney Ian Jones, they will be sentenced on September 8 and are expected to get up to nine years in prison. The gang assault victim, Derek Correa, is a Bradford Pennsylvania resident who has been attending Alfred State College. Correa was assaulted in October of 2023 and has returned to Alfred State since the October 2023 incident.
