FROM ALFRED VILLAGE POLICE: On 12/10/2023 in the early morning hours around 2:51am the Alfred Police Department responded to a report of an assault on Saxon Drive in the Village of Alfred. The Alfred Police Department located a victim and conducted an investigation into this incident. As a result of the investigation, The Police Department reports the arrest of 2 male suspects. 22-year-old Ryan J Ebert of Hornell NY and 23-year-old Curtis J Quick of Hornell NY were both arrested and now charged with Assault in the 2nd degree (Causes serious physical injury to another). Both Ebert and Quick were processed and released, set to appear in Alfred Village Court on a later date.
On 12/13/2023 around 4:45pm The Alfred Police Department responded to the area of 38 W University Street in the Village of Alfred for a large fight in progress. The Alfred Police Department reports the arrest of 20-year Dominique Wright of South Bronx NY. Wright was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Disorderly conduct for allegedly, physically fighting with another person and failing to obey a lawful order to disperse. Wright was processed on these charges and released, set to appear in Village Court on a later Date.
