Grades 7-12 Arkport Central Interim Principal David Warren spoke to the Arkport BOE last night, about his first few days with teachers and students there at Arkport Central. Warren says he’s impressed with both students and faculty. “It went really well,” warren said. “I’ve heard from kids and staff,” Warren said. “I’m really optimistic,” he stated.
The BOE also did the second reading of the DEI policy. School Superintendent Jesse Harper said he has had no questions about it. Also the same was done for athletic placement policy. The second reading of that was done last night and Superintendent Harper said he’s had no questions about that either.
Arkport Central will be having School Town Halls Sept 19 at 600 and Sept 28 online 700 Oct 3 at 600pm, the September 19 and October 3 town halls will be held in the school’s choir room.
Arkport Central is looking to hire a new deputy treasurer to replace Melissa Evans Who is taking a new job in Hornell.
