ALBANY, NY – Wlea News emailed State Assemblywoman Majorie Byrnes, asking if she could tell us anything about the hearing held on Wednesday, at the state capital, by the state assembly’s judiciary committee on impeachment. Byrnes told Wlea, that topics from the executive session cuold not be discussed, but the GOP Assemblywoman from Livingston County, was able to report the following:
“The judiciary committee voted to empowered the law firm conducting the investigation to be granted a commission authorizing the firm to take testimony under oath. The judiciary committee also authorized the issuance of subpoenas.”
