ROBERTSVILLE, MO./HORNELL-Benjamin Thomas “Ben” Lewis, 27, of Robertsville, Mo., formerly of Hornell, passed away suddenly on Sunday (May 3, 2015) in Robertsville, Mo.
Born in Hornell on July 13, 1987, Ben was a graduate of Hornell High School.
He served his country honorably in the Unites States Marine Corps during Iraqi Freedom.
His loving family includes his wife, Sarah (Kircher) Lewis; his son, Rylan Edward Lewis; his mother, Mary Fitzpatrick; his father, Leslie (Luanne) Lewis; his four sisters, Kathleen (Jon) Swift, Ashley (Steve) Wanamaker, Lindsay Mallory and Brianna Lewis; his maternal grandmother, Ann Fitzpatrick; his father-in-law, Mike Kircher and his mother-in-law, Sharon Bell; also his four nieces and many aunts and uncles; as well as many, many cousins.
Ben was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Fitzpatrick and his paternal grandparents, Edward and Nora Lewis.
The Bishop & Johnson Funeral Home, Inc. in Hornell is honored to serve the family of Benjamin Thomas “Ben” Lewis.
There will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to meet his family at St. Ann’s Church in Hornell where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in his memory at 11 a.m. Saturday (May 9, 2015).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in his memory to the Rylan Lewis Educational Fund, in care of Mary Fitzpatrick, 6 The Circle, Hornell, N.Y. 14843. Envelopes for memorial contributions will be available at St. Ann’s Church on Saturday.
