CANISTEO-Catherine L. Sweet, 67, of 29 Pine Street, passed away Friday (May 1, 2015) at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville.
Cathy was born in Rochester, October 16, 1947, and was the daughter of Walter and Edna Sanford Randall. She had resided in New Hampton, NY before returning to Canisteo in July of 2014.She had attended Canisteo Central School and had been employed in hotel housekeeping in the New Hampton area.
She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Lennie Randall.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Hargrave Woodworth (Mickey) of Greenwood and Dawn Fisher Claflin (Brian) of Tennessee, her sons, William Hargrave of Clinton, NY and Warren “Joey” Hargrave III of Avoca, her brothers, William (Sara) Randall of Canisteo, Ronald (Jodie) Randall of Hornell and Robert (Rhonda) Randall of Canisteo, her sister, Bonnie Moore of California, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends on Saturday May 9, 2015, from 4 PM until 6 PM at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo where Funeral services will follow calling hours at 6 PM. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo.
