Buffalo News Story on Martha Roberston

Congressman Tom Reed’s Opponent Faces State Board of Elections Complaint
March 2, 2014

BUFFALO, NY – Did Martha Robertson make $31,620 from a fundraising email that was untrue? That’s what the Buffalo News is questioning today. In a story by Jerry Zremski, the Tompkins County GOP Chairman James Drader made a compalint with the New York State Board of Elections, about a September 30th email that said “Our web manager just caught GOP ops trying to shut down my website! I can’t believe it.” But according to the Buffalo news, so far, Robertson has not been able to prove that her webpage was actually hacked.

Robertson campaign spokesperson Jordanna Zeigler told the Buffalo News that the attack on Roberston’s website was real, and that this is a “desperate smokescreen to distract the public from the problems of Congressman Tom Reed”.
