URBANA, NY – State Police in Bath report that there was a two vehicle accident on Route 54 in the Town of Urbana at about 3:55 on Tuesday afternoon, which resulted in the death of a Campbell woman. According to State Troopers, Lisa Hawken, age 40, of Campbell, the principal at Campbell-Savona Central, was driving a 2014 GMC Arcadia on State Route 54 that collided with a 2012 Peterbilt tractor trailer, operated by Jamie Faulkner, age 44.
State Police say that Lisa Hawken was pronounced dead at the scene by Steuben County Coroner Steve Copp, and she was taken to the Monroe County Medical Examiners office for an autopsy. Faulkiner was treated at the scene by Hammondport Fire Dept and Ambulance Corp and treansported to Ira Devanport Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
