From Canisteo Police Chief Kyle Amidon:
On Thursday August 8, the Canisteo Village Police Department in conjunction with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alvirn T. Riley (Age 39) of 13 Taylor Street in the Village of Canisteo for 2 counts of Rape in the 2nd Degree, 3 counts of Criminal Sex Act in the 2nd Degree and 4 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Riley was transported to the Steuben County Holding Facility awaiting arraignment.
