August 8, 2019

Statement From The U.S. Attorneys Office:

BUFFALO, N.Y. – U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Ryan C. Lander, 42, of Dansville, NY, who was convicted of producing child pornography, was sentenced to 21 years in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo, who handled the case, stated that Homeland Security Investigations began investigating the defendant based on images he was posting on a website known for child exploitation. A search of the defendant’s electronics revealed that between July 2011 and March 2013 Lander had two minor victims engage in sexually explicit conduct which he recorded.
The sentencing is the result of an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations, under the direction of Special Agent-in Charge Kevin Kelly.
