Clean Audit For Hornell City Hall

October 28, 2014

HORNELL, NY – A clean opinion was given (that’s what is commonly known as a clean audit) to Hornell City Hall.

That’s what an accountant from Drescher and Malecki announced to Mayor Shawn Hogan and the Hornell Common Council last night.  When the accountant was asked by Deputy Mayor John Buckley what grade that would be, in high school terms, the accountant responded a “B+”.

In other Hornell news, Governor Andrew Cuomo sent out a press release yesterday, which stated that Hornell was going to get over $320,000 in state grant money, for biking and hiking paths.  Mayor Hogan says that will go to building bike and walking paths for the Mike Fucci Park and other areas in Hornell.
