Clinton B. Patricks, of Hornell

HORNELL-Clinton B. Patricks, 89, of 176 Greeley Ave .passed away Saturday (August 16, 2014) at his home.

Born in Kingston, NC, August 10, 1925, he had resided in Hornell since 1949. Clinton had been employed at both the Jenkins and Auckland farms in Arkport for several years and retired from Stern & Stern Textiles in Hornell.

He was predeceased by his parents, his son William Battle and seven brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his long time companion, Marilyn Chilson of Hornell, 2 daughters, Hazel (James) Mumford of North Carolina, and Christine Banks of Hornell, 3 sons, Earl Battle of Olean, Aaron Vanderhoef of Florida and Anthony Vanderhoef of Hornell, 3 brothers, Harold, Charles, and Harry Battle all of New Jersey, 8 grandchildren; Cedric Mumford of North Carolina, Debra Mumford of California, Clementine Battle of Hornell, Jessie (James) Knighton of Hornell, Joy (Hoston) Crutchfield of Hornell, Bryant Battle of Olean, Jermaine Battle of Olean and Tyrell Battle of Olean, several great grand and great great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Rehoboth Deliverance Ministries 112 East Avenue in Hornell where funeral services will follow calling hours at 1 PM, Rev. James Mumford officiating. Burial will be in Heritage Hill Cemetery in Arkport.
