August 11, 2015

HORNELL, NY – Congressman Tom Reed announced on Tuesday evening, that $858,333 has been awarded to Oak Orchard Health. “This funding, issued by the Health Resources and Services Administration will support the new vision for health care in Hornell.” said Reed, who also called it “great news for residents in the Hornell region. I care deeply about protecting access to health care and ensuring that local residents have the resources and services they need. That is why we have worked tirelessly to support plans and secure funding for new access points here in the Southern Tier.”

Reed continued, noting that he has been fighting for health care in Hornell. “Increasing access points to health care is critically important in our area,” said Reed. “It is only fair that local residents have access to quality primary and pediatric care close to home.”
