HORNELL, NY – Congressman Tom Reed was in Hornell on Wednesday, to endorse Hornell GOP candidate for mayor, 9th ward Alderman John Buckley. “John Buckley is ready to be the next mayor of the City of Hornell. I”ve known him over the years, I’ve spent time with him, we’ve done town halls together, he’s committed to being accessible. I’ve watched him at his job there at Wegmans, interact with folks on a regular basis, and that’s the type of elected officials we need. We need people that are really willing to listen to people, be in their communities, really trying to hear what’s on people’s minds,” Reed told Wlea News. “That’s also the reason I appreciate John, it’s a team approach. I think he’ll be a great asset to our team at the local level, with our state officials, in Joe Errigo, Phil Palmesano and Joe Giglio and Tom O’Mara.”
