Cornell U Staffers Prep Local Residents To Question Congressman Reed

February 13, 2017

ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY – This morning on Fox and Friends on the Fox News Channel, it was reported that local political activists here in this area of New York State, are planning to help local residents show up and ask questions of Congressman Tom Reed (R, Corning) at the Tom Reed town hall in Fillmore this coming Saturday, at the Allen Town Hall, from 4pm-5pm.

The website that was referenced by Fox and Friends, is sotieraction.weebly.com. From reading the website, it appears that former state senate candidate Leslie Danks Burke, and two Cornell University staff members (one is a professor, one is a retired librarian) trained local activists at a Sunday training session in Angelica.

The website describes Congressman Tom Reed as “slick”, and advises local residents on how to prepare for questioning the GOP Congressman.

Update: Tuesday, February 14, 2017, a person just called, identifying themselves as the retired librarian referenced in the story above. She said that she did not work as a librarian at Cornell, but at another college. The information WLEA obtained, about her work as a librarian, was on a page on sotieraction.weebly.com, and that particular page is no longer functional.
