NEW YORK, NY – Mayoral Candidate Curtis Sliwa and the Guardian Angels are calling for Police surveillance cameras to be installed throughout Inwood Park and other Parks throughout the city. With three attacks against women in just one hour female Park users are on edge. The Guardian Angels will begin to patrol the Park. “Unfortunately, there is a move in NYC to have Parks without fences, curfews and cameras. If anything we need more enforcement and more Police Surveillance cameras which are vital for crime-solving,” Sliwa says. “Cameras are essential as our Parks become targets of vandals, drug dealers, muggers and pervs.”
