D.A. Brooks Baker: The Bath Salts Confiscation Is Thanks To the Drug Tip Line

August 20, 2015

HORNELL, NY – WLEA News has learned more about about how Hornell Police seized 35 grams of bath salts.  According to Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker, a tip came in on the Steuben County Sheriff’s Drug Tip Line, and the sheriff’s office passed the information along to Hornell Police Investigator Tom Aini.

We asked the district attorney if the suspects from last week’s drug arrests in Hornell, were connected to the Hornell police intercepting 35 grams of bath salts.  Baker said that they “run in the same circles,’ but the d.a. did not think that it was necessarily connected to last week’s arrests.
