December 3: Allegany County Announces 31 New Cases

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 14 million people, and there have been over 274,000 deaths. According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 674,093 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 26,955 deaths statewide. As of 3:30 p.m. on December 3, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

Confirmed Cases: 1,152 (31 new)
Recovered Cases: 962
COVID-19 Related Deaths: 49 (Depending on reporting times and agencies, this figure may vary between different reports.)
Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date: 5,249
Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 4,497
Currently Quarantined/Isolated: 752
Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date: 1,337
Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given: 880
Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives: 50
