Details Released About Jasper Accident

JASPER, NY – On Monday, we reported on an accident that happened in Jasper over the weekend, and now more details have been released. State Police say that an 18 year old from Ulysses, Pennsylvania, was driving in Jasper, with several passengers inside the vehicle. Troopers say that the driver failed to negotiate a curb, causing the vehicle to roll over into a field several times, ejecting the driver and the passengers. Two passengers from Westfield Pennsylvania, ages 20 and 50, were taken to St. James, and then transferred to Strong Memorial. The 18 year old driver is also at Strong, as is another passenger: 16 year old Larius Pierce of Troupsburg.
 
The accident happened just before 10pm on Sunday night on Route 36 in Jasper. State Police say that 18 year old Jade Mengee and 16 year old Larius Pierce are in satisfactory condition, and that 20 year old Dustin Williams and 50 year old Gregory Hanes are in guarded condition.
