Assemblyman Phil Palmesano recently hosted a forum in Corning about the rights of those with developmental disabilities. Present were people with developmental disabilities and their families, non-profit organizations, mental health experts and community leaders.
Palmesano says that there are many with nowhere to turn as sheltered workshops across the state are being shut down.
