HORNELL, NY – From Hornell GOP Leader/Steuben Co Legislator Paul Van Caeseele:

As this year’s election draws near I thought it was important to address the residents of Hornell regarding the gravity of the current political dynamic. I wanted to take a moment to thank the growing support of Republicans in this area but to also sympathize with the Democrat voters.

I know many Democrats have felt abandoned by the new left wing radical agenda that has taken over the mainstream goals of their party. An extreme movement which actual desires to fundamentally alter the foundation of America, it’s constitution, and everything it stands for. Defund the Police, Defund the Military, Open Borders, Anti-2nd Amendment, Anti-Free Speech, Cancel Culture, No Voter ID, Unverified Same Day Voter Registration, Heroin Injection Sites, Decriminalization of Hard Drugs, Legal 3rd Trimester Abortion, Socialism, , Propositions of 58 Gender Identifications: Support of all of these agenda proposals fall under the goals of the new Democrat Party umbrella.

However, please understand that my goal is in no way to chastise Democrats. It is, in fact, to sympathize with those in the party who no longer relate to what the mainstream affiliation has become. Many local Democrats have recently joined the areas growing Republican vote in Hornell to conserve Upstate New York’s fundamental constitutional values. In the last 4 years, Hornell has become the 2nd fastest growing city in the state and the 3rd most affordable city to live. Steuben County is also currently getting statewide recognition for its innovative stance in the southern tier. I would like to welcome all party affiliation’s support at the voting booth, so we can continue this trend towards, not only a promising future for Hornell, but an influential movement to inspire other adjacent communities to follow suit. Vote Republican on November 2nd to secure our community’s foundational values, while at the same time, reaching Hornell’s bright future faster.
