GENESEO, NY – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Livonia man put up a phony claim online, that there was a creepy clown being at a park in Livingston County. Officials with the sheriff’s office say there was no creepy clown at that park, and even though the man did not make this report to law enforcement directly, officials say that because he caused unnecessary alarm to the public, the individual was charged with making a false report in the 3rd degree.
