FROM NYSP: On January 9, 2024, at approximately 11:09a.m., Troopers from SP Amity responded to a report of a motor vehicle in a ditch on Moss brook Road in the Town of Friendship. Investigation determined that a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound on Moss Brook Rd. in the Town of Friendship on snow- and ice-covered roadways when the vehicle of the vehicle exited the roadway striking an embankment. The operator, Leslie M. Blouvet, 37, of Friendship, NY, was pronounced dead at the scene. The only passenger in the vehicle, 40-year-old female who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Jones Memorial Hospital for treatment.
