Fatal Car/Pedestrian Accident
A car/pedestrian accident in Livingston County has claimed the life of a 12 year old boy.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that Emery Lafferty, of Sparta, was playing baseball in his yard, when the ball went across the roadway. When he went to retrieve the ball, he was hit by a vehicle operated by a Wayland woman.
No charges have been filed. An investigation continues.
