ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY – State Police report that early yesterday afternoon, State Troopers out of Amity responded to a two vehicle collision on County Road 36 in Centerville. According to State Troopers, Further investigation revealed that a 1998 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling south on CR-36 and crossed over the center line into the northbound lane striking a 2014 Toyota head-on. The operator of the Harley-Davidson, Jeffrey W. Clark, 29 of Rushford, NY was transported to Wyoming County Hospital and was pronounced deceased.
Officials have not released the name of the driver of the 2014 Toyota. NYSP Collision Reconstruction Unit and the SP Amity Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted in this investigation.
