Former Corning City Hall Employee Accused of Embezzling

State Comptroller Tom Dinapoli is reporting that Stephanie Burlew, a former Corning City Hall office employee, is accused of misappropriating public funds to pocket permit fees, code enforcement fees, utility receipts, water and sewer fees and parking summon fees.

The amount she’s accused of taking: over $5,000.
Corning area media outlets say Burlew worked for Corning City Hall, from 2012 to 2013
