ALBANY, NY – Governor Andrew Cuomo posted on his FB page, on Sunday, that he won’t sign the state budget this year, unless the part in it about making the two percent property tax cap permanent, is passed. “Our middle class cannot sustain a return to the days of skyrocketing property taxes.
In this year’s budget I call on the State Legislature to make the 2 percent property tax cap permanent — and I won’t sign a budget without it.”
He also put out an editorial, which ended up in the Democrat and Chronicle, on the same topic.
