HORNELL, NY- Mayor Shawn Hogan, Hornell Partners for Growth director Shelly Stevens, and Hornell Industrial Development Agency Executive Director Jim Griffin, were on hand for the grand opening of the Spotlight Theater on Friday night with a Ribbon cutting ceremony with the new owners, Scott and Tami Treutlein,Warsaw natives,who own another theater in their hometown.
The efforts to get the theater open once again, was a result of many Hornell leaders stepping up including Mayor Hogan, and the Hornell Industrial Development agency in concert with the current owners, who had obtained ownership through an auction on the steps of the county courthouse in Bath.
