HORNELL, NY – Mayor John Buckley and Hornell Department of Public Works Chief Mitch Cornish tell Wlea News that because of Winter Storm Izzy, Hornell DPW crews were out in full force, from Sunday night through Tuesday. They were in 18 DPW vehicles, both trucks and snowplows, and DPW workers put in a lot of overtime hours on this – a total of 265 overtime hours.
