HORNELL, NY – It was about two weeks ago that there was a fire at the Hornell Salvation Army Store. The latest on that is this: Hornell Fire Chief Dan Smith reports that the Salvation Army has put their re-opening on hold. Fire Chief Smith says the Salvation Army fully intends to re-open the store eventually, either there or at another location, but they’re going to hold off on that, for the moment.
